Prescription Services

Captain Stirling Pharmacy is your one stop shop for all your prescription needs! We offer a range of services to ensure your prescriptions are dispensed in a safe and timely manner.

• In-Store services
  • Losing track of all your scripts? Not sure when a script will expire? Leave your scripts with us! We can manage all your prescriptions, ensuring convenience is a priority. We designate a file for you and your family members (including your pets), organise tax statements for the end of the financial year and maintaining a record for those eligible for Safety Net.

• External
  • Can’t make it into the pharmacy? No problem! Scripts can be requested a number of ways:
    • App – MedAdvisor is an app that can be used on PC, Mac, iPhone or Android. MedAdvisor is easy to set up and even easier to use. Once registered, you can access all you and your families prescriptions on your phone. You can request a script via the app, and will be notified promptly the moment your script is ready for collection. The app notifies you when a prescription is due, or close to expiry. Never wait for a script again!
    • Email/Facsimile – Send us your script via email or fax*, and will get right on to it. You can request a call for when it’s ready, or just come in when you’re ready.
    • Phone – Keep your scripts on file with us already? Give us a call and place an order!
    • Date dispensing – If you require a script on a certain date and worried you might forget, let us know and will do the remembering for you.

• Medication Packs
  • If you or a relative is taking multiple medications and finding it difficult to manage, we can help.
  • We offer a webster packing service at a reasonable price, where all the weekly medication is packed into an easy to use blister pack.
  • All websters are packed by a trained staff member and then checked by a pharmacist before leaving the pharmacy.
  • If the webster pack is required for someone in a nursing home, we attach signing sheets with the pack to ensure the medication given in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • In the event of a medication change, whether by the doctor or from a hospital discharge, we will amend the webster pack to reflect those changes. In the unlikely event of a potential medication error or interaction, we will contact the appropriate practitioner to rectify the issue and inform you of the changes.

• Postage
  • We offer a postage service across all of Australia.
  • All our medications are posted express to ensure delivery is quick and efficient.
  • We also offer a cold chain service for all your refrigerated medical needs.

• Delivery
  • We offer a free delivery service on Tuesdays and Fridays for those living locally. Contact us today to find out if you’re eligible!
